Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our energetic team and contribute to the fabrication of high-quality plastic components. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and techniques, ensuring precision and excellence in every part produced. The ideal candidate will be passionate about manufacturing and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. This is a 1st shift role (Roughly 7am-3pm).
Primary Functions
- Prepare, weld, and finish projects according to drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction
- Fabricate and rebuild parts for use with equipment and machinery
- Assist with the installation activities of new equipment
- Assist in the build and assembly of new equipment
What Success Looks Like
The Fabricator’s role is to prepare sketches and/or review engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and perform welding operations. The Fabricator will operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments, ensuring conformance with specifications. The Fabricator is responsible for examining workpieces for defects, troubleshooting, and performing necessary repairs to prevent issues and minimize downtime.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3 years MIG and TIG welding experience
- Experience with bandsaws, shears, drill press, grinders, brakes and sanders
- Technical training in welding
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to operate a Hi-Lo
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven safety consciousness
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to quality check work per blueprints.
- Metallurgy knowledge preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Comfortable with a varied and dynamic workload
- Willingness to learn and grow

- Bridgeport mill experience
- Lathe experience
- Brazing
- Pipe fitting
- Aluminum Welding
